FELTING WORKSHOP ON THE FARM: WINTER SCARF
MONDAY, MAY 23RD 2022, HAWARDEN, TAWHAI GOTLAND STUD
9AM TO 3PM
On this day you will create a warm yet light wear felted winter scarf. You will learn how to create a “falling” felt by adding holes and how to create ruffles by laying out wool in a certain direction. We will be working with very fine Merino wool, silk fibres and superlong and soft Tawhai Gotland lambswool.– light like feathers!
There is the opportunity to dye the scarf in your favourite colours right after the felting process if you don’t want to keep it in its natural colours.
Cost: $180. All material included. Lunch, tea and coffee provided.
